Separate sealed bids for the Allen St. Force Main & Old Florence Rd. Gravity Sewer Project will be received, publicly opened, & read at the Darlington Water Dept, 400 Pearl Street, Darlington, SC  29540 at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.  The scope of work includes installation of 1721 lf of 6” PVC Force Main, 1696 lf of 12” PVC gravity sewer, 7 new manholes, asphalt repair, fittings, and appurtenances.

 

To receive electronic files, mail $100.00 along with name, address, phone, contact person, and Email address to Davis and Brown, 124 West McIver Rd., Florence, SC 29501.  A copy of the plans & specs may be obtained & viewed at the office of the engineer. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities, or to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening. Estimated cost is $750,000.  Bid, Performance, & Payment bonds are required. Contractors classification of “WL” is required.
