PHASE 22 WATER LINE EXTENSIONS

SRF #1620001-04 – Loan Funding by State Revolving Fund. EEO/DBE, Davis-Bacon, AIS

Separate sealed bids for the Phase 22 Water Line Extensions project will be received, publicly opened, & read at Darlington County Water & Sewer Authority, 1701 Harry Byrd Hwy., Darlington, SC 29532 at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 18, 2023.  Scope of work includes the construction of approx. 110,000 lf of 6”, 4”, & 3” water lines and appurtenances. Project is divided into two Divisions, awarded separately.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities, or to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening. Estimated cost is $2,000,000 per Division. 100% Performance, 100% Payment & 5% Bid bonds are required. Bidders must comply with all applicable state and federal requirements identified in the bid documents including Davis-Bacon, and American Iron & Steel provisions (AIS).  Prospective bidders must implement procedures, using Good Faith Efforts, that ensure that DBE firms are given opportunities for meaningful participation if subcontracts are awarded. Contractor classification of “WL” is required.
